What types of military transcripts are accepted by Arizona State University?
Types of accepted transcripts
ASU makes it easy for service members to submit their transcripts. We are proud to announce that we accept the following military transcripts.
Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) transcript
The Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) is a regionally accredited community college. Submit this transcript as part of your undergraduate application if you received credit for courses taken through the CCAF while serving in the Air Force.
Air Force personnel who completed training through Air University can request transcripts here.
Joint Service Transcripts
Joint Service Transcripts (JST) have replaced the Coast Guard Institute Transcript, the Army/American Council on Education Registry Transcript System (AARTS) and the Sailor/Marine American Council on Education Registry Transcript (SMART).
All enlisted, including officers and warrant officers, both active duty and veterans from all Army components, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and Navy, are eligible for a JST. All active duty, reserve, veterans or National Guard personnel can use a JST.
Please note: Submitting your JST as early as possible allows for timely evaluation. But it will not delay your admission decision as it is evaluated solely for transfer-credit purposes.
